X-Lite Shield, a re-designed molded plastic from Bauer, sits in the center of the chest to bring elite-level protection to the sternum. On either side, Flexcell foam brings standard foam protection but with a close-to-the-body fit and highly mobile design.
The X-R also has low profile shoulder caps to benefit the speedy, crafty player while maintaining incredible protection to contact. Each bicep guard features a molded plastic that contours nicely around the arm and features length adjustability to seal any gap between the elbow pads. Finally, Bauer's Thermo Max liner excels at wicking sweat and moisture away from the body to keep players dry and comfortable.
